I used to work at a company called TET. I had to wake up at 6am so that I could be at my desk by 9am.

Waiting for the train in the early cold hours of the morning. The weather is cold occasionally foggy, but not to worry we all get to read the free Metro newspaper.
On the train with a seat! It pays to leave early... usually!
A window seat is always nice to have, so I can watch the world pass by, as I'm in a trance like state at this time.
After a 30 min ride to London Bridge I get off, and drift down the escalators (when they're working) to get the Northern Line.
Waiting on the Norther Line train is dangerous as there are no barriers between you and the tracks and the platforms are always packed like a tin of tuna. Thank fully they run every few minutes and at this time I can still get some personal space.
Once at work I get to use this mouse coupled with my dual screen monitors to do some work
The office photocopier, with a slow but seemingly reliable server that runs all the scheduled programs on it

Once I've completed my 7.25 hours of work I get to go home or down the pub.
I tend to go home a different way. This usually means me getting the Circle Line to Cannon Street and then squeezing my way out of the train, saying "Excuse me" several times. Once at Cannon Street I can go home on a seat, as the trains start from Cannon Street station.
The alternative is to get the train at London Bridge and stand for 30min on it, with people inches away from me. Having people so close I can taste their hair is not the most pleasant experience when I just want to get home.

The street I must walk down to get to the pub!

The End
